Waiting Time and Counting Distances Mode
Please see the following parameter table.
In the mode of counting Distances there will be a P character blinking with the car moving. The Distance Km will increased according to the K distance that saved as option no 1 in the parameter settings. And the fare will be changed according to the settings of option 2, 3, 4, 5 in the daytime and options 6, 7, 8, 9 at night.
In the parameter table, the item 6 and item 7 are waiting time and increase rate respectively in the daytime and item 12 and 13 are waiting time and increasing rate at night. when the car stops moving, the meter comes into waiting time status automatically or manually by pressing STOP button according to the setting of parameter no 17. If the parameter no 17 is setup as a none zero value, the meter will automatically come into waiting time when the speed is lower than the value. If the parameter is setup as 0, then the meter will come into the waiting time counting after pressing STOP button.
The driver can stop or restart waiting time by pressing button STOP button repeatedly if the car restart to move, the meter will stop counting the waiting time and turn to counting distance automatically.

Quit Hired Mode
Press Button V/H to quit hired mode. If the auto-print is enabled in the charging rate parameter the printer will start to print the
receipt. If manual-print is enabled then please be sure to press PRINT button to print the receipt manually before pressing V/H button to quit hired mode.
Print receipt
If the option for printing receipt is auto printing, the receipt will be printed out once press V/H button to quit hired mode.
If the option for printing receipt is manually printing, the receipt will be printed out once press OK/PRINT button while the meter works in hired mode.
If the option for printing receipt is OFF then there will be no receipt to print.
For hire status
For hire status display
Press V/H button, the meter will turn to For-hire mode when it works in Hired mode.
In the For-hire mode the display will be activated as follows:
The fare window displays 0.00.
The Kms window displays 0.0 and will increase every 0.1Km when the car is moving.
The Waiting window displays real time.
In the For-hire mode you can set up parameter and check the saved information.
Sleep and activate mode
Press STOP key to turn off the screen while the taxi is in FOR-HIRE mode. Press STOP again to activate.
Adjust tariff parameters.
To adjust tariff parameters you must enter a correct password. There are two ways to start to enter password that can be customized any of one. One is to open the sealing bolt and use a small pin to touch the small button inside the meter under the sealing cover then the first digit will be blinking, that prompts you to enter a password. The other way is to press UP button and hold on and then press OK button, that means press UP+OK, then the meter also prompts you to enter a password with the first digit blinking. Just press DOWN button to adjust it to 100000 as default password then press OK button, then you will see the parameters in the meter saved. Please Press UP button to move the blinking digit that you want to adjust and press DWON button to adjust and press OK to confirm and go to next options. To quit and save, just operate the same way as you enter the password in these two way correspondingly. If without saving please just press STOP button to quit. Please refer to the above table for detail parameters.
Query the saved total data
Press the DOWN button repeatedly to Query the saved records in the meter.. Please see the following table I for details.
